As there are so many service providers now, you would be advised to check out as many types of plans as possible.

For those people that believe their usage would be better suited to a monthly cell phone without contract plans then the consideration is having a charge for each minute used or by the second. You need to assess your usage frequency and requirements before you decide on any scheme.

Another option is to check the availability on eBay, you’ll find that some people sell cell phone no contract plans on the website. You will also be able to get a clear understanding of the price because most popular phones will be on sale and you can compare pricing on what is available. You need to make sure that the particular phone you’re looking at is not locked to a different network carrier than the one you are using. The last thing you need to do is to have to unlock the phone that you have just purchased this can be an extra cost. When buying from eBay make sure that you deal with somebody with good feedback and that you are comfortable that they can answer all your questions before hand.

For cell phone without contract plans, the functionality is often limited so the phone and service you choose may not be able to do everything a similar phone can do when paid for monthly. In closing I will say that even though cell phones are a good thing to have, however keep in mind that we don’t have to be attached to them 24/7.Before you make a decision on cell phone without contract plans it is worth considering how many minutes you will use per month and whether it will be worth arranging for a pay-per use agreement or a pay monthly contract which could be for twelve or twenty four months. Weigh the prices of both types of agreements before signing on the dotted line because if you plan to use your phone regularly, then a long-term contract might be worth it. Some features like tri-band or quad-band means they can be used in Europe and Asia but these may only be available with phones that are part of a long term agreement so look out for deals that will be of benefit to you.

  1. Yea, this is amazing.

  2. Cool, The US would never do this, you would get robbed soon as you leave school.

  3. no where!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  4. as long as it works with ur carrier u just cant buy any phone and it work it has to be compatiable with the service. but u dont have to sign a new 2 yr just for buy a phone u can pay full retail for it at the store and just put it on ur service…but the full retail is usually very expensive.

  5. Some phones simply won't work because they don't fit the network. If you get a GSM phone that uses sim cards, however, it should work with providers such as t-mobile that offer sim card plans. But you cannot buy your own phone to use with Sprint, unless it's a PCS phone.

Call customer service and ask what kinds of phones work with their service and tell them you want to purchase your own phone. Most stores do not know or don't want to tell you this stuff, but customer service might be smarter. If not the first time, call back and talk to another person :)

  6. What all that means is, they're giving you the phone $250 off on the agreement that you serve the entire term of your contract. It's so you can't just cancel it and end up with a free phone.

  7. Hey Obama, that’s a real example of using technology to education’s advantage!

  8. you can buy from AT&T without signing new contract, but you must pay full price. You only get discounted price if you sign new contract!!!

  9. get the sprint go phone

  10. Go directly to the manufacturer. It's going to be a little more expensive, because the wireless companies give you a discount for renewing your contract… Here's my favorites: http://www.nokiausa.com http://www.sonyericsson.com http://www.motorola.com And there's a ton more. The cool thing is you can get phones that aren't available through any carriers, and a lot of them have way better features. I have a SonyEricsson K790a I got directly from SE and I love it!

Be careful about getting phones on eBay…make sure that if it is not a phone that was originally sold by your provider it is unlocked so you can put your sim card in it.

  11. Yes. You just have to pay full price.

  12. You dont have any kind of warrantee or insurance whatsoever ?
just find any AT&T phone, and your sim card will work in it .
