Mobile Phone Plans, Choose the best Deal
Mobile phone was developed to be one of the most important parts of life. Most companies require their leaders to have a mobile phone. Even individuals need mobile phones in addressing their daily lives. This is why acquiring this vital electronic device calls for intelligence in order to refrain from inappropriate spending. Finding the right mobile plan is a pre-requisite in choosing mobile phones intelligently. Due to the large number of network services worldwide, it can help you to find and assess their offers before deciding on a mobile phone plan.
Before you go for to buy a mobile phone, you would like to determine first if you want a traditional mobile phone plan or a prepaid mobile service. If you opt for a mobile phone service that is paid in advance (celled prepaid service), then there is no problem, no credit verification, you just need to pay and frankly you have your phone immediately.
Some mobile phone carriers even offer free mobile phone when you buy a ‘prepaid’ mobile phone service from them. However, if you want a mobile phone plan, you may have to choose which charges by minutes or by seconds. All the two filling processes have positive and negative points. You must assess your requirements and frequency of use before selecting a mobile phone plan. You can research on the level of performance as if they have enough towers to connect you where you are. There are various mobile phone plans for both family and domestic use. There are also plans for regional use. All of these have their own advantages, although there are some drawbacks. For prepaid mobile phone plans, there are mobile units that may not have the capacity for this connection.
Other mobile phone plans, for example family plans, this is useful to use for family and small companies. The plan offers free access for emergencies. Moreover, for family plans, it is cost effective to call other mobiles included in one invoice.
There are also some discounts for using the transmission time of family members using this mobile phone plan. For national plans, this mobile phone plan offers discounts on long-distance calls. There are no additional expenses on roaming calls for this mobile phone plan, so this is another benefit. For regional mobile plan, the airtime charges could be cheaper, but you may be required to pay long distance calls.
Mobile phone plans could be advantageous if you choose the right one that can benefit your needs. The frequency of use is a decisive factor, if you do not require it as much but for emergencies, then ‘prepaid’ mobile plan could best suit your needs as compared to traditional plans in which you need to get into a contract with the mobile phone carrier.
Prepaid mobile plans are frequently chosen; but since the traditional plans come up with no roaming and long-distance charges it is often preferred by travelers.

Here are some things to consider that will make the process of comparing prepaid plans an easy one:
1. Price per minute – prepaid cell phones minutes cost between 10 cents and 60 cents. That's a huge range. With some prepaid providers you buy a bucket of minutes, and the more you buy at one time, the less per minute cost.
With others you put dollar amounts on your phone. With more money you add, your number of minutes per dollar will increase. Long story short, the more you spend, the cheaper each individual minute will be.
2. Expiring minutes -This is really important. Once your minutes expire, you will lose them. If you use your cell phone often, this probably won't be an issue.
But, if you are buying a phone for emergency purposes or to use infrequently, you might want to spend more per minute for a later expiration date. Some carriers also make you add a certain amount of minutes or money per month in order to keep your account active.
3. Daily Fees -Some carriers charge a fee for each day your phone is used. This can be as high as $1.00 a day, but will come with lower per minute fees.
If you use your phone infrequently this might be a good deal for you. If you use your phone for many days a month, you will be paying too much, especially if it's for short call.
4. Nights and weekends/ mobile to mobile -Some plans offer free nights and weekends and some offer free calls to others with the same carrier.
Again, you might want to pay more per minute if you will be able to take advantage of these features.
5. Roaming charges – Some carriers have roaming charges and other have none. It is important to find out if there will be times that you will be roaming.
If you will be roaming frequently, you will want to avoid a carrier that has roaming fees. Some are up to 70 cents per minute.
6. International calling -Some prepaid plans offer it and some do not. If you need international calling capabilities you will want to be sure that the carrier you select offers this service. Finding the best plan can be a daunting task.
Be sure to sit down and write what your needs will be before shopping. If you know what your needs are for the above topics, you will be able to make an educated comparison of prepaid plans.

Stupid Brenda, stupid stupid girl! uhhhg and joe what the heck!?!?! >:|
hey!
mine is cingular… there are 2 cingular offers….
1. 0.25 per minute (national, calling or receiving)
0.05 per text msg (international, calling or receiving)
minimum to add i think 15, anything under 25 you have 30 days to use, then you have 90 days for $25, and 365 days for $100.
2. 0.10 per minute (nat, call/r) PLUS 1 dollar per each DAY you USE it… it means… if you use your phone that day, you can use it like crazy, cause you pay the dollar for the right to use it that day, you pay nothing for days you dont use your phone (who comes up with these rules anyways lol)
everything else, same as first plan
man joe just went bilstick! brenda is a beeyotch!
why don't you take a family plan. if you want to be able to get signal almost anywhere, try Verizon or At&t cingular.
Brenda is an obsesive little fucking slut!!!
Virgin mobile has two different full-keyboard phones, the X-TC and The Wildcard. For $49.99, you will get 400 anytime minutes and unlimited night/weekend minutes. (nights start at 7:00 pm!) This plan also includes Unlimited text, picture messaging, email, IM, video messaging, and lanline texting.
I have a Tracphone and I have no problems with getting service. You can get the minute cards at many locations and they cost anywhere from $20-50. You have to put more time on your phone every 3 months (90 days) to continue service. The only thing I don't like is that you can't get any "cool" ringtones or wallpapers.
ummm already did that was a really long time ago
