The Right Cell Phone Plan
These days, there are many cell phone companies that want your business. They offer free mobile phones, attractive plans, and low monthly rates. But not all plans are the same. Some companies charge extra for calls made outside the calling area, while others charge for using additional features such as text messaging and photo uploading. When looking for a cell phone plan, you should decide what you need in terms of the number of minutes, special features, and unlimited area usage. This will give you a better idea of which wireless phones are for you.
When comparing cell phone companies, you should also compare cell phones, as they are not all created equal. While you may receive a free cell phone when you sign up for a wireless phone plan, the mobile phone may not have all the features you need. These days, many people need to purchase cellular phones that are in sync with their computer, can connect to the internet, and act as a PDA. Many times it is better to purchase a cell phone when deciding on a plan.
Cricket is a cell phone company that offers four different plans and a variety of phones to purchase when choosing a plan. Since people need cell phones when traveling, or when away from the office, more companies are now available that provide cellular service. You can choose to buy a cell phone that is expensive or choose a cheap cell phone model. Price is not always the deciding factor when buying a cellular phone. Cricket offers many discount cell phones when you are ready to buy a wireless phone.
With a wide range of Nokia phones available, you can purchase cellular phones that will last a long time from companies like Cricket. The Nokia N91 unlocked, Nokia E70 unlocked, Nokia 7370 unlocked, and the Nokia N80 unlocked, are all quality phones you can choose from. If you are looking for internet capabilities, the Nokia 770 Internet Tablet unlocked is also available. Buying the right phone is important for those who use it often.
A cellular phone is more than just an accessory, it is a way for you to connect with family, friends, the office, and in case of emergency situations. Choosing the right provider is important because you may need help from customer service, you may want to upgrade or change your plan, or you may want to purchase other mobile phones in the future. Companies that can adapt to fit your needs are more successful than those who overcharge or fail to provide excellent customer service at all times. Once you have found a provider you trust, you will be able to relax and enjoy your new mobile phone and the service you receive.

Help answer the question about compare cell phone plans
which cell phone service gets the best reception in tucson, az?i'm new to tucson and am searching for a new cell phone plan. it's easy to compare rates and plans and find the best "deal of the moment", but i have no idea which service provider has the best reception (or least dropped calls).
i've been told that verizon is pretty good and that t-mobile was not good 5 years ago. but maybe they've improved.
any advice would be appreciated.
thanks.

Given what you said:
The plan you want is the America's Choice at 450 minutes for $40.
http://www.verizonwireless.com offers a whole bunch of discounted phones w/ a 2 yr contract.
If your employer has a relationship w/ VZW, they can offer discounts on equipment and monthly plans.
Both! You can do both online. No matter which phone you pick it will list the same plans. No matter which plans you pick it will list the same phones.
If you want to have a contract based cell phone plan you will most likely have to be 18. However, you can always buy a prepaid cellphone. If you're unfamiliar with prepaid cellphones the way it works is usually like this: you buy the cellphone, a sim card, and minutes that come on a gift-card like thing. Depending on the carrier you can use the money you spend on the card for minutes or texts.
At places like Target, BestBuy, Walmart etc. they sell cellphones along with a starter kit which includes the sim card and a card with minutes (for some phones).
They're priced anywhere between $20 and $100, and then every now and then you buy new minutes.
Good luck!
yes they do check your credit card but they don't do any without your permission and yes if u go to one of t-mobile stores u could walk with a new working same day, if u want a FREE phone or a cheap phone u need to make a 1 or 2 year contract if u dont want a contract u have to pay ur phone a regular price, BUT yes u can as soonest they give u ur sim card and ur phone ((sometime u need to wait about an hour to activate))((if u order it by phone or internet u need to call t-mobile to activate ur phone that takes about 5 minutes))
I would stay with Verizon as well, but first pick your free cell phone from the link below and then check out available plans. Most plans start at $39 a month with top three carriers(Verizon-450 minutes, At&T-450 minutes, T-Mobile-300 minutes), Sprint and Nextel have $29 plans but I don't know if they cover your area and those plans offer only 200 minutes. Verizon has 450 minutes and UNLIMITED messaging plan for $59 a month which might be a good option. If you just want to look at Verizon plans use second link below. Good luck.
